Founded in 1946 at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Dior quickly gained worldwide acclaim for its revolutionary "New Look," a style that defined a new era for fashion. Throughout time, Dior's historical legacy has been carried forward by a succession of visionary designers. Deeply committed to sustainability, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri recreated a forest for the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020 runway and pledged to replant the trees in the Parisian region post-show. Dior is also focused on reducing its environmental footprint, setting ambitious goals to cut greenhouse gas emissions from its operations.
