Description
A distinctive vintage Emporio Armani design from the late 1980s to early 1990s, reflecting Giorgio Armani’s exploration of relaxed tailoring and sculptural proportion.
Crafted in Italy from 100% virgin wool, these black trousers feature a dramatically high waist and an exaggerated jodhpur-inspired silhouette, with volume through the hips and thighs gradually tapering towards the ankles.
The waist is finished with an integrated matching belt and fabric-covered rectangular buckle, reinforcing the architectural construction of the piece. Curved articulated panels at the knees introduce a subtle equestrian reference and further define the sculptural shape of the legs.
Front pleating creates additional volume while maintaining the fluidity characteristic of Armani tailoring of the period. The narrow lower leg and fitted ankle provide a strong contrast to the generous upper silhouette.
