A magnificent expression of Hermès' artistic and historical heritage, the Vue du Carrosse de la Galère La Réale silk scarf was originally designed by celebrated illustrator Hugo Grygkar in 1953.
Inspired by the richly ornamented royal galley of Louis XIV, the intricate composition depicts an elaborate gilded stern adorned with mythological figures, sculptural details, fleur-de-lis motifs and ceremonial maritime decorations.
Presented in a striking combination of vibrant red, deep black, emerald green and gold, this plissé edition transforms the historic design through delicate accordion pleats, creating an elegant interplay of colour, movement and texture.
