SELLING ON HER-AGE
What is the selling procedure?
- Create an Account: Register on her-age.com if you haven't already. This will enable you to review your listings and track your sales.
- Submit Your Item for Online Approval: Go to the "Sell with Us" section on our website. Provide comprehensive details about your item, including its condition, brand, size, and any distinctive features. Upload clear and detailed photos to help our team in evaluating your item. Set a competitive price suggestion and at the end we will propose a fair price and payout amount for your approval.
- Shipping Details: Once your item is approved and the price is confirmed, we will provide you with a prepaid-complimentary shipping label. You can either drop off your parcel at a nearby DHL service point or arrange a pickup with DHL.
- Quality Check and Final Approval: Upon receipt of your item, our experts will verify that it matches the online submission, authenticate it, and assess its condition. Final approval will be granted before the item is listed online.
- Listing Publishing: After completing all required details, your listing will be published and visible to potential buyers on our website.
- Buyer Relations: You can relax while our dedicated team manages all customer interactions. Simply wait for your item to be sold and receive your payment.
- Sale Process and Payment: Once a buyer purchases your item, we prioritise prompt payment. Payments are processed after the return period has ended, provided the item has not been returned and the buyer’s payment has cleared. Your payout payments can be made via wire transfer in Euro currency to an EU based bank account or via PayPal in Euro currency.
From which countries do you accept selling requests and consignments?
Currently, we are able to process selling requests and consignments from the following regions:
European Union (EU) Member States: Including all EU countries.
If you are located outside this region and are interested in consigning items with us, please contact our support team at customerservice@her-age.com for further information on availability and requirements. We continuously review our services to potentially include additional countries in the future.
Why was my product declined?
f your product was declined during the online approval process, it may be due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Brand Restrictions: We may not support the specific brand of your item.
- Condition: The item may not meet our quality standards for sale.
- Authenticity: The item may not be verified as authentic.
- Demand: The item may not align with our current inventory needs or product mix.
- Other Factors: There may be other reasons related to our expectations and criteria.
If your product was declined during the quality check and physical approval process, it may be due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Incorrect Item: The item received does not match the one submitted for approval.
- Condition Discrepancies: The condition of the item does not align with the photos and descriptions provided.
- Authenticity Issues: The item could not be verified as authentic after a meticulous physical inspection.
How does pricing work?
When you submit an item for sale, you will be prompted to enter a "Suggested Online Price." We will review this suggestion and assess the fair market value of the item to determine an appropriate selling price. Our goal is to align closely with your suggested price while ensuring it reflects current market conditions.
Once we have established a recommended selling price, we will provide you with a final price proposal for your approval.
Please note that the online price includes the sum of your payout, our commission, and a 22% VAT.
Price Simulation
For example, if your seller commission rate is 75% on an item with an online price of € 122, here is the breakdown:
Online Price (Including VAT): 122€
Price Without VAT: 100€
Your Payout: 75€
How should I pack my items?
Once you confirm the selling price with us, we will provide you with a shipping label. Simply pack your item in a suitably sized box (not larger than necessary) and send it to us using the provided label. We will handle everything from packaging to shipping and delivering the item to its new owner - it's all part of the convenience of selling with Her-Age!
Do I have to pay for shipping when consigning items?
No, you do not need to pay for shipping when you sell on Her-Age. We provide a complimentary shipping label for your convenience.
Is my product authenticated before being listed online?
Yes, your product will undergo an initial and online authentication process based on the pictures you provide. As an additional safety measure, once the item arrives at Her-Age headquarters, our team of experts will perform a thorough physical inspection to verify the authenticity before it is listed online.
What happens if my item is found to be counterfeit?
If your item is identified as counterfeit during the online authentication phase, your selling request will be rejected, and we will be unable to provide you with selling services.
If your item is initially approved as authentic during the online authentication phase, but is later found to be counterfeit when sent to us, we will immediately notify the relevant authorities and forward the counterfeit product to them for further investigation. Additionally, your seller account will be suspended, and you will be barred from making further selling requests.
If my item doesn't perform well, will my payout be reduced?
No, Her-Age is committed to being seller-friendly and transparent regarding payouts. Rest assured, your agreed-upon payout will remain unchanged and will be paid as originally agreed. Your payout will not be reduced automatically under any circumstances, except in the case of a special discount request. If such a request arises, we will inform you personally and seek your approval before applying any changes.
Do I need to communicate with buyers or handle customer relations? Will the buyers negotiate the price with me?
No, you do not need to handle customer relations or negotiate prices with buyers. Her-Age manages all aspects of the fully-controlled-marketplace, including product listings, customer interactions, and logistics. As a seller, you can relax and check on the progress of your sales while we handle the rest, ensuring you receive your payment as agreed
How much will I earn from my sale? When will I be paid?

"Please note that the listed prices are exclusive of VAT. An additional 22% will be applied to the total amount."
If you are interested in becoming a professional seller, defined as selling a minimum of 20 items per drop and accessing improved seller payout rates, please contact us at customerservice@her-age.com.
Her-Age will pay seller profits as follows:
- Between the 15th and 30th of each month for sales fulfilled* from the 1st to the 15th of the previous month.
- Between the 1st and 15th of each month for sales fulfilled* from the 15th to the last day of the month before the previous month.
*For clarity, a sale is considered complete & confirmed when the order for the product has been fulfilled by the buyer including the closure of the return window.
The fulfillment date does not refer to the date when the item is sold. Instead, it is the date after which the buyer can no longer request a return. Her-Age is an omnichannel marketplace where the fulfillment time could not be perfectly estimated as several factors contribute to this timeline due to some procedures such as procurement, shipping, payment, return policy and resellers’ policies.
Your payouts may take 2 weeks to process after the fulfillment date. You will be notified via email once the payment has been fully completed. After processing your payout, it may take an additional 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Can I have my item back if I change my mind?
Yes, you can!
If you notify us with a written “Product Return Request” email within 120 days of Her-Age validation, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. You will need to provide us with a prepaid shipping label from a carrier of your choice and arrange for the pickup from our headquarters.
For all return requests made within 120 days from when the item went online, you will need to cover the return shipping costs.”

What is a professional seller?
A professional seller is defined as someone who can request to sell at least 20 approved products in a single batch. Once you qualify as a professional seller, you will benefit from higher payout rates and direct access to our seller advisor. This service is particularly advantageous for high-volume sellers.
I have a second-hand store or I am a stockist. Can I list and sell on Her-Age?

Payment by promotion code
Simply go to your shopping bag and enter your code in the designated "Gift Card/Store Credit/Promotion Code" field. Your discount will be displayed in "Your current promotions" and the final price will be adjusted automatically. If the total of your order exceeds the balance of your store credit, gift card, or the amount of the promotion, you can select the payment method to cover the remaining amount during checkout. If the balance of your gift card or store credit exceeds the order amount, you may use the same code for your next purchase. The remaining amount will be available until you have used the credit balance in full.
